YO is a new at-home device that let’s you essentially stream your semen. It works by turning your phone into a microscope, which along with letting you see your sperm can almost instantly tell you how it looks.
The kit, which will be for sale starting Tuesday and sells for $50, is different from other home tests on the market because it can measure sperm motility rather than just giving you a count. That means you know whether your sperm of a good quality, which is what really matters when it comes to fertility.Using the disposable equipment provided (they give you enough for two tests), you collect your sample and then drop it onto a slide. You then insert that into the YO clip, which slides over the top of your phone, and use the corresponding app to start the test.
In two to three minutes, you’ll get the results, along with a mesmerizing video of your sperm. As an added bonus, you can zoom in on your little fellows and inspect them all you like. If you ever need to revisit them, your results are stored in YO's database (you can delete them whenever you'd like).
